Nobody by the looks of it! I passed them about 12.30ish on Friday getting laid into the bevvy, passed again about 3pm and the flotsom and jetsom of aforementioned bevvy session was shrewn around the office - passed again today about lunchtime and it was still the same
Is this the type of impression we want to give visitors of the way our local businesses are run?

Got a text from one of the ladies at work to say sorry but she was so p ished she had gone home with the Kitty

I never saw you, mainly cos you were not as brazen as Poppy who tried to gatecrash. Had to head her off at the pass with an evil scowl.

Last Friday was a monster rave up and this Friday? Well its off to the early evening showing of Polar Express at Ster Century - a brilliant way to calm down our over-excited youngsters. :)

Did you enjoy the movie, Pop?

I'm hoping for a nice, quiet weekend. Going back to work was a terrible shock to the system.
Shopping trip planned for tomorrow morning with the promise of a visit to the Elephant House or maybe Favorit for cake and coffee before getting the 42 back home.
Should really do a bit of overtime at work on Sunday but I doubt it'll happen.

We never got to see it! The kids got so engrossed in something else that they decided not to go. I was disappointed and we never seemed to have spare time to go again in the holidays. We have however talked about going this weekend but it looks like Lemony Snicket is ahead in the family poll! :)

Oh well, better luck with this trip then, PoP.

I went to see The Incredibles with D during the hols and fell asleep within the first few minutes.
I think I may have been a tad hungover, if I'm honest.

I saw The Incredibles before Xmas and quite enjoyed it.

The film lost the attention of the younger kids by dragging out how boring it was for a Superhero to be normal but once it going it was great.

A big hit with Clan Pal of Porty and Santa even gave us an Incredible's jigsaw and a book! :)

I agree ECM going back to work is a terrible shock to the system.

Planning on chilling out tonight with the bottle of Champers I won for being top poster of the month on the new site for women in Edinburgh
www.coolgossip-edinburgh.com - I may even let Bearcub share it. Apart from that recovering from being back at work.

Sandra

I hope 'top poster' is a quality rather than quantity award - Portyobsessed AND squandering your time elsewhere!

No wonder the world of work came as such a shock.

I opened a bottle of cava on wednesday night to commemorate 12th night (if indeed it was, i never know if its the evening of the 5th or 6th of January) and the 2nd magnoliette (age 2.5) exhibited great enthusiasm for slurping the bubbly stuff. I am horrified at my future bar bills but I shall be finishing the bottle tonight in tandem with you. (yes - keep a silver spoon in the neck and it keeps for ever (ish))

I haven't had any fizz at all over the hols.

I'm quite in the mood for some but JD and coke will suffice. It's my Friday thing.

Homer is grinning from ear to ear after listening to another weather report. He's packed his crampons and is heading up to Glencoe for a wee hill walk. He tells me that freezing temps are great news and that the wind chill factor will give a temperature of -24 C, so that's really great, isn't it? :? Oh well at least he's not staying in a tent this time..........and I'm going to a rather glamorous party tomorrow instead .:0.:

I don't think Anne Summers do combinations. A bit too risque for them maybe :?:

I think lovely underwear packaged in a re-useable Tupperware container would appeal to loads of woman. They would feel great and love knowing that tommorows lunch was safely packed in the fridge! 8)

I don't think edible pants would get me through a busy day at the office as well as a chicken and mayo sarni would.

The Glycemic Index of edible pants would be brilliant for dieters though! :)

Rabbit shaped sandwich boxes wouldn't be that practical PoP but a vibrating flask that gave your soup a wee shoogle to stop all the veg gathering at the bottom might be an idea
