Imagine my shock, when looking at Portobello Online for the first time, and browsing through the photo gallery of the toddlers, I saw myself in one of the photos (from 1950 something I'm sorry to say), quite a blast from the past.
I grew up in Straiton Place and as it happens still keep in touch with the young girl sitting next to me in the photograph.
Happy days!
If anyone remembers me - get in touch.

Well, that must have been an odd experience for you, granville! It is nice to know who the people are in some of the photos. A claim to fame for you!
Welcome to the forum

. What's it like living in Inverleven? I don't think I've ever been there.

Welcome to the forum granville. Maybe you'd rather tell us about Innerleithen?
PS
Are you still on the medication DG?

Marya, I have the attention span of a goldfish today (well, maybe not only today

). It's the second time I've edited the name and still got it wrong

Oh, and, yes...I'm still on the medication and been sent home for more sick time. I should perhaps not try to converse for the time being

Pleas carry on making jokes. At least today I have an excuse for my blunders...
