Porty Crime Report

I know it is virtually dormant, literally, however, I just went to read the two posts that are on it and got "Sorry, this forum can only be READ by Moderators"

WTF???? Only Moderators have the stomach for the crimes that are committed in Porty?

What is the point of havng a forum that everyone can see exists but only Mods can read?

No idea how this happened but it's fixed now. This particular forum is under review and may be removed in the near future. Basically, there is very little serious crime in the Portobello area to merit a press release, for which we should all be grateful.

Could you share the review process with us? Who is involved? Who has the final say? How long can we expect to wait on a result of the review? What do you mean by the near future? Will you require any volunteers to beef up the Review Board, which presumably already included xxxx, Wangi and the 4 mods?

I think the review is more along the lines of... me complaining about the current version of phpBB and how it's mucking up things re who can see what etc... It was a real bucket of laughs setting Dada up as a mod using it!

... I said can we just not move all the posts out and delete the forum.

... Because less is better!

Hey, why not move them in here? Very similarly titled environment.

Do it now when no-one is looking. When someone notices that its missiing they will doubtless PM the administrator so he can post the "stolen" forum report in the crime report forum. Imagine the laugh we will have when he goes to do it and the whole forum has been misppropriated. Too funny.
