I have actually managed to listen in - only problem is it keeps cutting out after about 45 seconds then coming on again. Is this my esteemed machinery at it's best again or a communal problem (hope Lawrence thinks this question is serious enough

I'm loving it already. I'd like to rob from the old TV Times though so we can have POL's own Katie Boyle (Cllr Lawrence Marshall) dispensing Good Advice on the back page.

We're not on a timed schedule at the moment - but I will put something up.

BTW hope Lawrence was in a more positive frame of mind when he spoke to the representatives from the Scottish Calor Gas Community Awards. Saying things such as :

"The website has been really good at raising issues, although some elements, such as the discussion forums, are little more than gossip and tittle-tattle."

9.15 approx for pace's set

i was listening to it at work today and the bass could be used as an alternative to paint stripper. i had earwax coming out of my nose.

if there are any turntablists reading this - i spoke to pace this evening and he said he had a date tonight with a set of twins (1210s)

so yeah, watch your bass bins.

For some reason it's always Ali's sets I catch (and to quote ecm, I'm lovin' it!). I've only heard half of ecm's and the tail end of JP's latest and a bit of Bob's. I missed DJ Pace totally tonight. Don't turn them around too quickly please DJ Dada!

I think you''ll find that if you want regular rotation of your playlist then the station manager has to have his palm crossed with silver on a regular basis - in the early days of rock 'n roll radio in the States this was called "payola".

Working perfectly here now. I've just wasted half my morning thinking about whether or not to make up a cd for it, and then I decided I needed to put some happy music on it...and then I discovered I don't own any.

And all the best stuff I have is on tape. Ho hum.

I shall ruminate more. If it's quantity not quality we're after, i can do that no probs...

I have had some fantastic feedback to the station via the email link I put up - people should be sending us in some stuff shortly - messages included :

1. someone in the alt-country scene who would like to play and also send us reports of a forthocoming alt-country event in Austin, TX

2. a performance collective who do live readings of fiction, and are based in Portobello (!!!)

3. an electronica "head" - and you can't have too many of them imho

4. somebody who fancies DJ Pace

I have asked some of these people to register on the POL forum and join in the discussion, but obviously this is up to them. I'll be sure and keep youse posted though.

Listening to one of Jackson's sets just now but when I get his text list up it's for one of his other shows? Am I doing something wrong?

If not, any chance of fixing this. Or JP letting me know what the track before the Go-Team one is??

Sorry to be a nuisance but I have to know what I'm listening to while I'm doing the housework here.

My bad, all of it. I had changed everyones tracklists to be their second sets, then changed the playlist to have *all* the sets. That's my job for tonight - multiple set lists from one DJ link.

Sorry about the mistake and the delay. Wife and kid to feed. Had man-flu. Been a long week. Wants its mummy.

. I think it's an audiologist I need! This radio thingy keeps cutting out every few seconds. Driving me mad. Just as I'm getting into "Little Old Wine Drinker Me" I have to stop

Is this a universal problem?

Profuse apologies Katster. Can you tell me how and where you're listening - ie is it a work network or at home? Is it over a wireless network or just straight off your modem? Are you listening via the player on the website?
