At Christmas last, as I renewed my travel club membership, I said to my brother: 'I'll bow out of this campaign before it starts, as it looks hopeless and I can't really swing the days away from the family over the next couple of years'

Should have known what a daft decision that was!

Watched the last half. Have to say I'm amazed a team that last I checked were something like 208th in the rankings, have just beaten (convincingly) a team who were in the last world cup final. They were amazing (particularly Cauldwell). Hate to pre-empt but Scotland might be in the euro finals (please!!!)

PS - when is it acceptable to call Scotland football "us" if you're not from Scotland? - I've lived here for 6 years and supported them for 4 (and the American Football team since 98) - is that long enough??

Any time. If you truly believe, then you are at heart a true Jock, and as mad as all the rest!

Was at the game on Saturday, just behind the goal where we scored. My ears are still ringing, my head is still hurting, my wallet is still empty, still can't believe it, fantastic.

This link shows the view i had of the goal.

A lot of the Porty Rugby boys were in the Forrester, the atmosphere in there was brilliant. Folk were standing on tables to watch and at the end it was brilliant, complete strangers were hugging and high fiving with each other.

After our 32-0 victory it was a pretty good day/evening/night/Sunday morning

It's happened again - we wuz robbed!

That sheva is a cheatin' bar steward.

s'funny, just when we get to rule the world, along come some ex Ruskies to lead the revolution - against the world's greatest fitba' nation.

Any road up - vive la France............. result!

How long can we dine out on that?

Loved that wee bobble for Croatia's 2nd goal tonight though - made a sad night a wee bit mair bearable.
My GOD, it's full of stars!
