Mrs Dadaist and I are very happy to announce the arrival of Neo-Dadaist #2 (aka James)

This young chap arrived on the scene today at 6:14pm, weighing in at a thumping 7lb 8oz and in immediate search of dinner.
Mother and baby are doing fine. Besotted dad very proud of fine-doing mother and baby.

He certainly is gorgeous and absolutely delighted for all of you. Emily and James has a lovely ring about it and unless I'm mistaken PoP has a niece and nephew with the same names. Fantastic start to the New Year. It has cheered me up.
Well done Dad and Mum.

Welcome to the world James
I'm sure your dada will be introducing you to cabaret voltaire soon...... just remember that dada means 'yes yes', in Roumanian, 'rocking horse', in French and for the Germans it is a sign of foolish naivete and preoccupation with the baby carriage
I have nothing to say and I'm going to say it.

Good morning James!

Congratulations from me too. It's a whole new generation of future POLers. I wonder what will they make of these old archives?

Well done all - and a big welcome to Baby James x x (isn't that a James Taylor song - or am I thinking of Baby Jane?)
Enough of your nonsense - get back to the Play Pen!

Sweet Baby James it is
There is a young cowboy he lives on the range
His horse and his cattle are his only companions
He works in the saddle and he sleeps in the canyons
Waiting for summer, his pastures to change
And as the moon rises he sits by his fire
Thinking about women and glasses of beer
And closing his eyes as the doggies retire
He sings out a song which is soft but its clear
As if maybe someone could hear
(chorus)
Goodnight you moonlight ladies
Rockabye sweet baby james
Deep greens and blues are the colors I choose
Wont you let me go down in my dreams
And rockabye sweet baby james
Now the first of december was covered with snow
And so was the turnpike from stockbridge to boston
Lord, the berkshires seemed dream-like on account of that frosting
With ten miles behind me and ten thousand more to go
Theres a song that they sing when they take to the highway
A song that they sing when they take to the sea
A song that they sing of their home in the sky
Maybe you can believe it if it helps you to sleep
But singing works just fine for me
- chorus -

Thank you Foxy. Maybe we could record it as a POL CD in honour of our new member? We could debut on Radio Free Porty.

Adorable!
Congrats to you all.
January birthday though, poor chap. Nobody cares about us January birthdays.

Thanks folks! He is a hungry little chap, and has also been doing the snoozes.
In fact when he is not doing one he is doing the other.

He didn't wake up til now (quarter to 7). He keeps doing his John McCririck impression and asking where the boobie is.
