It's the fashion accessory of the year - a very limited edition Portobello Online T-shirt.

The shirt features a full colour Portobello Online logo emblazoned across the chest. Professional screen printing, no cheap iron-on stuff. The T-shirt itself is premium quality 100% preshrunk cotton jersey. Available in white only.

Imagine, proudly strolling along the Prom, the envy of your friends. Excellent portyperson bagging and spladooshing qualities. Excellent birthday or Xmas gift, or for ex-pat friends and relations.

Price probably around £15, depending on quantity. We are looking for pre-orders so that we can get the correct number of each size.

Sizes are S-36, M-40, L-44, XL-48, 2XL-52

Thanks Marya, that's 2 we've sold now. (Guess who bought the other). At this rate they will certainly be very exclusive, but the down-side is that they will cost £50 each!

Come on portypeople - don't be shy. We need your perfect specimen bodies for advertising space. Of course you have to promise to wear it everywhere. There's no point in buying it and just shoving it away in a drawer. That's why we have gone for the best quality T-shirt we could find, so it will stand up to repeated wear.

You are going to be the coolest dude on Porty High St in this, believe me, and you will be helping to promote Portobello Online at the same time. It's a win-win situation. Place your orders!

Not necessarily Bob - Click here. They're a reputable firm, and I know someone who uses them.

Yes! :D Count me in too! (I just got on-line and saw this!) Mine will have to be an XL - the days when I was a 38C are long gone - it's just a shame the rest of me increased with my chest size! But I am a total t-shirt wearer, so I'll be delighted to wear this - outside Porty too!

Great! That's 8 so far. I need orders for 21 to get the discount price so keep them coming. (Alex, I had a look at that site but I prefer someone I can talk to directly as I'm going to be a bit of a perfectionist about getting this right. Thanks anwyay.)

Now I don't want to put pressure on anyone, but don't you think Maureen Child and Lawrence Marshall would look smashing in a Portobello Online T-shirt? Wouldn't it demonstrate how cool and in-touch they were?

What about Gail Porter? (sorry, Hipgrave). Is Gail's mum a member or lurker perhaps?

(Hang on - new thread!)

BUY, BUY, BUY!

Well, certainly the entire staff of Findlays and Williamsons should be wearing them.
Unfortunately, at the risk of being hated forever more - count me out! I JUST COULDN'T!
It'll put me at a great spladooshing advantage though so the rest of you carry on!

Epycat, Why not get one then wear one of Marya's crimplene cardi's [she sounds the sort who would have a vast selection of them, from what ecm has told me by secret message from the penthouse] on top with just a wee bit of whatever's written on it showing so that only other Porty t-shirt owners would recognise?!

Or, I could just wear one and tuck it up with a big knot tied at the front (a la 2nd year girls) and make it into a crop top so that you wouldn't really see the logo?

Crop top like a schoolgirl, eh? Just make sure it's at least one size too small and that you wear a push up bra to get that look right!!!

I'll have a large one

If you could incorporate a Hibees reference somewhere then Epykat could get one for Mr. Epykat or even risk embarassing Epykat Junior.

Hey, remember we're talking about tee shirts here Rathy, not whisky!
IF I were to order one Marya it would be a medium as I am of medium size although if I'm going along the schoolgirl route it would of course have to be XS in which case the rest of me would immediately become L due to the dispersal of fat which would arise!

OK. Which 'm' is a light silvery-white metallic element of the alkaline earth series that burns with an intense white flame?

Oh that wasn't fair! She said magnesium before you said throwing it open and I thought it was magnesium and then I thought it must be wrong so I said the only other thing starting with M I could think of...... I want a rematch!

Does the house contain a periodic table? :home:

In fact we have a periodic nest of sleeping tables.

Who says we have too many in-jokes on this forum?
