Gym this morning, football this afternoon and crunching raw vegetables as we speak. Panicking, in short. Panicking in shorts actually.

Happy birthday Porty. Turning 50 made me more determined than ever to be fit and active. I'm watching Julia Bradbury's series on Wainright's Coast to Coast walk on BBC4 and I'm inspired to walk at least part of it. I reckon middle age starts at 60 nowadays. We're youngsters yet.

Happy birthdays to Sandra for yesterday - how's the hangover dear? - and to Porty. Porty has been very quiet recently, which probably means he is up to no good.

No hangover, had lunch in Kings Wark then a bit of a pub crawl - Roseleaf for cocktails, Carrier's Quarters, the Pond and then walked home stopping for one in Forresters. A good day out
Happy birthday Porty!
