Perhaps you could use it to find out how much your FOI requests have cost to date to the organisations concerned. Don't get me wrong - I think that FOI is a fine thing but it's certainly open to abuse.BeachBum wrote:Tattoo ?SoupDragon wrote:Tatoo
And the letter writer makes a good point.
I was wanting my 50th FOI request to be something special but looks like I will be using it to find out information on the costs of the nightly tourist fly pasts.
I will decide what FOI requests I put in.Bob Jefferson wrote: Perhaps you could use it to find out how much your FOI requests have cost to date to the organisations concerned. Don't get me wrong - I think that FOI is a fine thing but it's certainly open to abuse.
Suggestions are not welcome to be honest "Bob Jefferson".

You go Beach Bum
You will let us know how much it is costing to fly jets over tattoo parlours.
They obviously went past the one in Porty High St and were heading up toward Cockburn St. passing over the ones in Broughton St., then on out to Gorgie.
Pity they didn't hace adverts trailing behind them, that would offset some of the cost
Maybe you could suggest that when putting in your FOI?

Indeed I may be. But I wouldnt have thought so. Its not something I will be loosing any sleep over, no reason for you to concern yourself with it either. Im sure you have so many other things to worry about.Puerto bella wrote:50th FOI?
You must be on MI5's radar as a militant with that track record.

Well - you make me laugh, anyhow.
Do you realise how funny some of these posts are or is it just a gift that comes naturally?

As it is a Military Tattoo one would presume that the Military will be footing the bill ?
I was under the impression that all pilots had to fly so many hours to keep their license "topped up " so to speak.
Perhaps they combined training with the flyover as it looked pretty spectacular to me .

Looks like Beachbum's passion for FOI requests continues unabated. See third letter down in today's ENBeachBum wrote: I was wanting my 50th FOI request to be something special but looks like I will be using it to find out information on the costs of the nightly tourist fly pasts.
