PORTY FESTIVAL

Post by GRANTY » 07 Sep 2009, 22:46

Just to say a big well done and thanks to all those involved in yesterday's Porty Festival. It was a good day, I enjoyed it and and know that others did as well. It was nice to see kids of all ages and adults having a good time together and the event shows loads of potential as a future event. I was also there at the very end when folk were getting a bit 'lively' and that didn't take away from a brilliant effort. Cheers x

I was watching from the window
I'd have been down there if I was feeling better
It certainly sounded good, shame about the weather.

Who were the band with the piper?

The website at http://portyfestival.com/ looks a bit unloved and neglected. It does mention Sep 12 2010, but I wouldn't take that as confirmation either way!

I'm told it's not happening this year.
