I totally respect people's rights to have different opinions Betty. We live in a democracy and have a legal system. When the majority of the community appear to be in favour of the school being built now and the courts ruling says it is legal I think some decency and dignity is needed to accept that. We don't always get what we want and that's not a great feeling I acceot but that's life!Betty Windsor wrote:And maybe you need to start showing a bit of respect to other people with different opinions. What kind of example do you think you're showing your children? Do you really want them to get the message that you get what you want by making a lot of noise and ridiculing people who don't share your ideas/beliefs. Your intolerance is deeply disturbing to many people on both sides of this debate.mcdryburn wrote:Betty you seem to be missing (or ignoring) a key thing in that the court listened the arguements and have ruled on it. Why can't you just let it go. Sometimes in life things go against you - PPAG need to show some dignity and move on.
Im not out to be intolerent to anyone i can assure you. Out of interest who have I disturbed on the PFANS side of the debate?
