If only to keep Jane Bradley happy, I think 2007 is the year of the POL Nude Calendar.Bob Jefferson wrote:Portobello - the musical. On ice.Brenda wrote:Now that we have our own newspaper, website, radio and TV, what's next?

Re: Portobelly Telly - The Launch
I've already given my thoughts on how to do this. But, to recap: it should be done as a hip-hop/opera (or hip-hopera) crossover with Larry on lead vocals, backed by a children's choir.Bob Jefferson wrote:But seriously, the next project has to be the Valves tribute band. Ecm, ali, Jackson?
It's a winner and a money-spinner. I'll organise the kids if you can get the councillor.
JP.
Larry
Dear all, when you refer to Larry on vocals are you referring to Larry Marshall AKA as Councillor Lawrence Marshall, he is very supportive kind of man. When we were fighting to save our School from closure up here in Bingham he was one of the 3 Councillors who was prepared to be stand up and counted, Larry along with 2 other councillors Broke the Whip, first time this had ever been done with a Labour Vote.
I would dearly love to see Larry on Stage doing a Bit of Hip Hopping.
If you need anymore Councillors give us a shout here in Bingham cause we could help you rope the likes of Donald, Shammy, Maureen(maybe) Jack, Ian (Perry) and the Good Hip Hop (Hippy) Ewan.
Regards Libby
