Updated quiz stats to reflect the toll of a tour in that jungle hell.

This quiz will close at midnight tonight, although you may never be able to fully rid yourself of the experience.

"Firefox" was one of the movies I was being haunted by when I started the quiz. But there are other types of military hardware you can lose and then regain control of whilst flashing back .....

Aaargh. There's something somewhere in the back of my mind but I just cant get it. Keep thinking about Steven Seagal in Nico or Under seige and Mel Gibson in Lethal Weapon. Even asked the Clangers - they supplied me with- The Simpsons, Skinner has flashbacks to 'Nam and South Park.

What form of military hardware, US military vehicular hardware, would there be Vietnam vets able to control?

It's not a tank. It gets soldiers and firepower from one place to another.

Once you have guessed the vehicle, the film(s)/tv programme shouldn't be too difficult.

I really hope I don't end up turning the air blue.

War at home:-

Emilio Estevez, Kathy Bates and Martin Sheen

Estevez plays Jeremy Collier, a Vietnam veteran who is psychologically scarred and has trouble reajusting to life at home. He has flashbacks.

The Quiet American:-

It's a flim done in flashback, based on the book by Graham Greene

Rules of engagement:-

The movie starts in flashback and follows two men, childers and Hodges, and what happens to them after the war.

House:- is actually a horror film

A novelist moves into a house where his aunt committed suicide and plans to write his next book there. He keeps having flashbacks to the Vietnam war.

You're only due an extra point if a character experiences a flashback episode whilst at the controls of military hardware, and this happens *after* the war.

I was too young to even know that that dark-haired woman you saw JMV snogging at the start of each episode was nice. All I was interested in were the computer readouts and buttons inside the helicopter.
