I knew we should have given our party at 'The George' the body swerve and joined you and Foxy.

Thought I'd bump this thread as reminder of Sat night's proposed shenanigans. Does someone want to suggest a time?

I believe Bob can't make it afterall. Just won't be the same without you Bob, but perhaps that's a good thing :P

Not want to drink? Bob? Nah

He's taking his Dad to watch Carlisle play. It'll make a change from his Dad listening to the game while Bob follows it online.

If you are getting Epykat to vouch for you, you must be in a bad way. :D Hope you mend and can make it along.

Are you questioning my integrity? I have to say she was looking a bit on the peaky side and BC was coughing - so we made a quick exit in the opposite direction to the germs. We've had our share of germ warfare the past two weeks!

As usual we were about the last to leave (well, my coat was the last one left on the rack at least!). Quite impressed with the 3 Monkeys. Bar staff are lovely (even offered to put Porty's codpiece in the fridge for him  ), band were good, decor's much better and there's.....wait for it........handcream in the ladies  .

'The Three Monkeys' certainly lived up to its promise. Good to have another decent pub in Portobello - they are few and far between.

Very enjoyable night - I couldn't believe the time when I got home. It fairly flew past. Even though we had a few no-shows, Mr E joined us which compensated greatly :D and a couple of 'lurkers' also joined us only to be shocked at Epykat's age

Porty's codpiece was certainly minging. No wonder the bar staff wanted it removed it from their sight.

At one point he asked them to put it in the microwave! Couldn't believe the time we got in either and was so excited I didn't get to sleep for ages and ages. I was then rudely awakened at 5.09am (looked at the clock) by a very loud smashing of glass downstairs. Since Mr E was still comatose after his binge drinking it was up to me to venture down to catch the culprit. And there was Selma sitting on the stairs looking all innocent at what used to be a vase of flowers which was all over the hall floor in bits. There was glass and water all over the place which took ages to clean up. I haven't been to sleep since

I wish I'd been able to make it if only to see Porty's codpiece.
As for the rest of you

We've now got my mums cat staying so I'm going round moving all breakable objects.
The annoying pidgeons that land on my window sill are in for a surprise!

I'm wondering if we should send out a search party for Wangi.
'Yes, that's right, officer. He was last seen heading towards the kebab shop, while muttering about taking a trip out to take pictures of the snow in the Pentlands.." :?
