paulardros,
I can see that 'forming a support group for victims' could be useful. Maybe you could do this yourself instead (I presume you're having a bit of trouble with anti-social behaviour)? Mandatory neighbourhood watch and more cctv is a bit Stalinist for my taste.

Anti social behaviour

Post by Cynthia » 20 Mar 2004, 21:40

Mandatory neighbourhood watch - does that mean we have to have a rota to look out of our windows and spy on our neighbours every day? and wot about "legislation that would prevent dense pockets of people living in neighbourhoods who cause anti-social behaviour" - how? dense pockets of which people - ok - give every 2nd person living in a "dense pocket" of "anti social behaviour" causers a flat in a not 'dense pocket' of less'anti social behaviour' causers - its unworkable as it depends what you mean by anti social behaviour - e.g. does Tony and Gordon living next door to each other constitute such a dense pocket - I would argue their behaviour in spending billions on war on the basis of unfound wmd and killing 20,000 people, leaving public services and workers like nursery nurses, benefits agency workers, underinvested in and underpaid and etc etc.. is pretty anti social behaviour -
sorry paulardross this petition is crass - see also the section on problem young people/children - & don't sign! C

Yeah, and if anyone introduced the things on your list of commandments, there would be a lot of other people being "framed" as well !!!!

Gently now, Surrealist. It may be wrong to assume that English is the first language for all registered users of the forum.

I am the very soul of contrition.

I wouldn't want to commit any behaviour that could be interpreted as anti-social.
