Does anyone know of a joiner who could fit an external uPVC patio door at short notice. I have the door and unfortunately the whole in the side of the house as well. BRRRR! :cwm10:

Sorry slip of the fingers, :oops: spelling should obviously be hole not whole. :roll:

HC, sorry to hear you're having trouble and it does sound really cold. Unfortunately, although Mr DG is a joiner he is completely inundated and would be unable to help until the start of the year - by which time you will have frozen! He recommended Mark Smith on the High Street as well.

I have had plenty of work done to my total satisfaction by my local joiner, Gordon Herd 0131-669-9062, though I have no idea as to his availability just now.
