Is untrue- you made it up.

You are just one exception that disproves your own claim with over 3500 posts.

Some other examples are : Dave and Alison Connelly, Kieran Sylvester, Lashylass.............. there's quite a few others. They have all been welcome and most are still welcome.

I dont post that much but i did think the site was informative for those in the Porty area. I'm a newbie to Joppa and its a shame that recently it seems to be imploding due to the emotive issue of the new school. Agree to differ - move on. For the record I have 3 kids and I'm ashamed by the actions of those trying to stop the build of the new school. Oh and who am I? I'm Dave. I live in Joppa on the front and can normally be found falling out of the Dalriada on a Thursday or Sat night!

The "problem" is behavioural and its yours; you make stuff up, have your own "facts" that cannot be justified.

So let's try again. Were you referring to the Facebook Page entitled 'PPAG_questions' ?

It's a very simple question. Yes or no?

This is how it works. If you are going to make an allegation against someone, you have to be quite specific. It won't do, for example, to just say "I accuse you of murdering someone" and then when asked for more detail become all coy and mysterious. Because if you do that, you are going to be laughed out of court and then most likely face charges yourself. It's far better to get your facts straight from the outset. You know the sort of thing, carry out some basic investigation, check your facts and gather evidence. Otherwise, you end up looking pretty stupid.

Let me get this straight and offer a hypothetical scenario...........- if Bob were to say ' I saw Lashylass stealing a pack of sausages from the co-op' is it ok not to evidence it and tell everyone Lashy is a thief? or if he were to say ' I saw Lashylass offering kids money and can only presume it was for something seedy/ illegal or both - are these remarks ok, albeit defamatory and have no substance?
Consider how is it any different to accuse someone, anyone - you just happen to have chosen Bob, of what you have Lashy and not at least come up with some evidence or retract it and apologise - after all if the shoe was on the other foot how would you react?

This is real life. I am here, at the other end of cyberspace being me I know you would have no trouble saying so and for years that's been the case and I've seen the funny side. However, some of the stuff that has been said or implied about me and my friends on this forum and about others on Facebook and in the papers (not just by you) has gone way beyond being funny and is now vindictive and nasty, with every tiny little thing dissected and ridiculed and commented on. That might be fair enough sitting with your pals having a pint but not on public sites or in the EN.

Okay, you don't agree with my opinion, that's okay, however it doesn't then stand to reason that just because you don't agree with my opinion, that my opinion does not accurately reflect the behaviour here on Talkporty. Why would it just be automatic that I'm wrong and you're right? And that's a prime example of why things stink on this forum. You won't acknowledge the fact that you could just possibly be in the wrong regarding the way you treat others under any circumstances whatsoever. Everyone has to accept your opinions and are only safe from a total slagging if your tolerance levels are good?! That's a wee bit scary Stephen
